Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"An amazing Hotel and restaurant. Having a sumptuous breakfast under the trees inside the restaurant in winter without the cold as it’s fully enclosed and well insulated. Also great service from the service crew and especially Yuleo for his attentive and pleasant service. Thank you Pestana Hotel"
"This restaurant is a stunning place to sit outside on a warm day. We had the skewers - anchovies stuffed with pickled peppers and olives. With our drinks we were also served potato chips, a lovely tradition at Spanish bars! Partner had a glass of Albariño and I had a tinto de verrano. The outdoor space feels like dining in a garden. P.S. it was loud because of construction on the Plaza. The restaurant itself was not loud."
"Hidden little gem, tucked away southern side of the Plaza Mayor. We stayed at the Pestana Hotel for over a week. Excelent place for a great breakfast. Lots of variety, good cofee, wide selection of: fruits, bread, juices, etc. Very friendly staff, they made us feel at home, very helpful, specially Jessica. Looking forward to future vacations in the area"
"The food is so fresh and exquisite. The restaurant is set in the Plaza Major, such beautiful surroundings. Perfect for lunch after walking around the city of Madrid."
"We had a very good experience here from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (spoke good English too) we sat on the terrace in Plaza Mayor..so lots of atmosphere. We both had the burger, thought we had to order an accompaniment but chips were included (not stated on the menu, that was a bonus). The burger was really tasty and cooked as requested."
"The bread is fresh and crispy. The scallops in mango soup was superb. The gambas in oil and garlic was also amazing. The grouper was a little bit dry. The entire experience was great sitting in the piazza and dining was a good experience. Thank you"
"My bf and I stumbled upon this restaurant. It's super nice and quiet. Very impressive! The food was very good. We ordered some patatas bravas, jamon croquettes and tagliatelle tartufo pasta. Would recommend!"
